The Glendale Joint Guide
Your Glendale route matters after a joint visit
A stiff knee can make any drive feel longer
Your knee may tighten while you sit in traffic. A sore hip can make getting out harder.
Choose the office before appointment day. The shorter drive depends on your part of Glendale.
Plan the ride home as carefully as arrival. You may sit differently after a pelvis draw.
Ask whether you'll be allowed to drive. Arrange a driver early if you'll need one.
The Peoria office may mean less driving from north Glendale
The Peoria office is at 13128 N. 94th Dr., Suite 205. It's about six miles from Arrowhead via Loop 101.
From Westgate, Loop 101 runs north from Glendale Avenue. Leave Loop 101 at Thunderbird Road for the Peoria area.
Event traffic can still slow your drive. Don't count on a quick ride after sleepy-making medicine.
Confirm the driving rule before you arrive. Loose clothes may help after a pelvis draw.
Choose a seat that won't press that needle spot. Your driver can handle traffic while you settle in.
Banner Estrella may mean less driving from south Glendale
Banner Estrella is at 9305 W. Thomas Rd., Suite 460. From the stadium district, 91st Avenue runs four straight miles south.
That drive doesn't require a freeway. It may be easier from central or south Glendale.
There isn't an office inside Glendale city limits. Confirm the address before leaving home.
Ask your driver to save the clinic number. You'll want it handy after the visit.
Plan where you'll get in and out. A high car may bother a sore hip.
Your job and walks decide which limits matter
If your Loop 303 job keeps you standing, say so. A mailbox walk won't test the same demand.
Tell the clinic about stairs and lifting. Include your hours spent on hard floors.
Thunderbird trails add rocks and a climb. Start on flat ground when the clinic allows it.
Before your visit, trace the drive both ways. Put your medicine list beside your keys.
Ask for work limits in writing. You can then show them to your employer.

A retrospective comparison of 523 bone marrow aspiration procedures against 435 open iliac crest bone graft harvests found aspiration significantly reduced complications - relevant because marrow aspiration for a joint injection is a real procedure with a real, if low, complication rate.
